Story Word Count and Parameters
Fiction: Between 500 and 3,000 words
Non-Fiction (book reviews, con reports,
etc.): 500 to 2,000 words
Settings: Any part of the world,
mythology or culture
Timeline: We will consider any story
set at any time in the past, present or future as long as
the story is within the specified genres.
No poetry please.
Rating
Please be advised that some content
will contain mature circumstances and sexual situations. All
NC-17 submissions that are acceptable will be marked so to
alert our readers of these situations.
Compensation
Authors
Payment for submissions are 1 cent (US)
per word following acceptance. Rights will revert to author
following one year of publication.
Featured Artists and Photographers
Compensation is in the form of a bio on
the contributor's page and a link to your website (if you
have one).
Reviews and Articles
Compensation is in the form of a bio on
the contributor’s page and a link to your website (if you
have one). These items are only accepted if discussed
beforehand with the staff.
Submission Format
Submission should have title, author name, email address and
word count in the header and the page number in the footer.
Manuscripts should be in either the Courier New or Times New
Roman font. Please make sure your manuscript is
double-spaced. Submissions should be sent as an attachment
to your email.

Submission Evaluations and Archives
We accept stories, artwork and
non-fiction from published (Print and e-print) and
non-published authors and artists. Three Crow Press will
publish every other month on the fifteenth day of the month.
All submissions will be evaluated by
the staff of Three Crow Press prior to publication. Each
piece will be evaluated on its own merit. Authors will
receive notifications of acceptance or rejection within
three weeks of submission. An author may be requested to
resubmit following changes or additions to a story.
All published submissions will be
archived on the website with links to the author or artist’s
website (if possible). Any submitted materials will only be
removed at the author's request.
Three Crow Press is published quarterly on the 15th of
the month:
